Ekman-Birge采泥器(箱式采泥器)由一個堅固的黃銅或不銹鋼材質(zhì)制成,采泥器底部有2個彈簧閉合器,這2個閉合器由釋放的使錘激發(fā)。在采泥器向上拉出水體的過程中,采泥器頂部開口處的2塊鋼板可以防止樣品被沖走。
